THE UNDOING Finale! Let’s Discuss!!

Well, we finally find out who killed the hot chick with the voluptuous breasts (aka Elena). I am quite upset that my elaborate theory was way off base. However, the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. The entire show is one cliffhanger after the next. All the evidence pointed to Jonathan. His DNA is at the scene, he lost his job, his mother, pretty much, called him a psychopath. I mean he had an affair with the woman who was killed! But not one of us wanted to believe he was the actual murderer. Just like his wife Grace, a Harvard graduate with a Ph.D. in psychology.

It is an extremely tough pill for Grace that she married and has a child with a person she truly doesn’t know at all. A sociopath wearing a dark mask. I have said it before and I will say it again, denial is a very dangerous drug. It took Jonathan pulling Grace aside and insinuating that perhaps their 12-year-old son, Henry, was the murderer for Grace to FINALLY open her eyes. And us too.

I have so many questions/thoughts.

1. Was the $500k for Jonathan to live la vida loca?
2. I still do not understand why Grace walks to Harlem in the middle of the night in a $10,000 overcoat.
3. Who is the other person Jonathan had a “one off” with?
4. Why in the world would Hayley let Grace take the stand after her husband cheated on her?
5. What was the deal with Elena? Why was she so obsessed with Grace? Was she trying to tell her that her husband was crazy? Why did Elena paint a portrait of her? and WHAT was the point of the kiss in the elevator?
6. Why didn’t Grace walk Henry to school the morning she took the stand or ask her father to take him?
7.  Why did Grace’s father have his driver drive him to Miguel’s house and then watch them from the road? Another ploy to throw us off?
8. Would Jonathan really hide the hammer at the beach house? seems ridiculous
9. Was that Nicole Kidman’s real hair or a wig?
10. Nicole Kidman’s hair wins for star of the show!

While the ending was disappointing, to say the least, I thank HBO for giving us a show to look forward to on Sunday night and discuss with our peeps. Can we please have another one? Enjoy my recaps?? Like this and I will dig into the next great show!
