The Pet Guide (aka as the Dog Guide for now) was formed on the Hot List after bringing Griffin home a year and a 1/2 ago. I was adamant about two things when we decided to welcome Griffin : Training & Socializing.

Once Griffy was trained and had his shots, I knew how paramount it was for any dog to be socialized early. Several of my friends recommended Pups@Play so I brought him one day and it has become his favorite place on earth (besides biking with Greg in South Mountain). Pups has two rooms for big dogs and little dogs. Their Groomers are UNBELIEVABLE. Just look in Livingston Moms and Doreen at Pups@Play is mentioned a million times. Your pup will come out manicured, cleaned and extra fluffy. Pups also offers a boarding service which I have used countless times. Perfect if you have a late night, a weekend getaway or a week vacation (Christmas Break!). Your doggie will be in the best hands. If you don’t feel like getting out of the car to drop or pick up your pup, you can text them (for a small fee) and your dog can be brought out to your car. As I mentioned on the Hot List page, I live on a front yard street so it was vital we installed an electric fence. I had to set this in place to avoid my dog running into the street. I am all about supporting local businesses and this one in particular. Millburn Pet Shop has been serving the residents of Millburn and surrounding towns for more than 72 years.I feel like that is unheard of nowadays. They provide an extensive assortment of wild bird seeds, feeders, pet foods and supplies including an array of cages, bedding, toys, leashes. collars, grooming supplies, and many other accessories.
