Clean out your closet month has sadly arrived. Although we are in a heat wave, I suspect it will be 60 degrees before we know it. The stores are filled with fall clothing which makes me want to purge my closet and break out the leather. Every year I clean out my closet and I stare at the same 5 or 6 items I know I will never wear. I just can’t seem to justify giving away a Gucci dress that was so much money (I can’t even tell you how much it cost).  I bought it before I was married, before I had kids, before I had the expenses I have today. I have several items like this that I know I should let go of. They say if you haven’t worn it in a year, you will never wear it again. I think that is 90% true, although I have a pair of cowboy boots that come back in style every so often and I will NEVER part with them.
