Livingston Trivia!! Here is your chance….

I had such great feedback from my last blog about Livingston I thought it would be fun to do an Old School Livingston Quiz. I thought the best prize since Father’s Day is coming up would be a gift card to the Strip House.

I love the Strip House in Livingston.  Some people think it’s expensive but I have to tell you it saves a drive into the city and the food is always great! I mean I could go in the city for a great steak but since we are lucky enough to have the Strip House, I don’t ever have to worry about the traffic in the tunnel. I have been going for years and I am never let down.  I just went recently and I had a few things I never tried before! Have you had the Strip House Roasted Bacon with Baby Arugula and Russian Dressing? OMG,YOU MUST!!!! It’s a great starter.

I always think the side dishes make a meal. I tried the Garlic & Herb French Fries…WOW! But my favorite side by far is and will always be their Black Truffle Creamed Spinach!

It is out of this world. I literally could eat that for dinner and be done!

I always eat the New York Strip. It definitely is enough to feed two people but that is the nice thing about bringing home a doggie bag. However, the strip is NOT going to the dog!  They obviously have a plethora of entrees to choose from such as Filet Mignon, Porterhouse, Bone in Rib Eye, Veal Chop, Rack of Lamb and Lobster. What makes their steak so incredible is that they heavily season them and then perfectly cook them at a high temperature searing in all the juices.

As far as dessert, The Strip house is famous for their chocolate cake:

But my favorite is the Cheesecake! (my husband requested both for his birthday today!)
