Lulu and Latte’s Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2015

Last year, after I published my Mother’s Day Gift Guide, a few people reached out to me requesting a local version. I thought it was actually a great idea so this year I turned 2015’s guide into a Livingston, Millburn, Short Hills, Summit version. I did add a few online gifts but all in all I kept it neighborhood friendly.

This past year Nathan Gindi, a NYC native, opened his second photoop studio in Summit NJ. Nathan’s studio, www.photoopnyc.com ,was listed as the Best Photo Studio in New York City in New York Times Magazines “Best of New York” Issue. Yes, he is that good! Ever since Henri Bendel opened in the Short Hills Mall, it has been one of my go to stores for gifts. Besides having the best shower gifts, I didn’t realize how much I loved all of their accessories! Here are a few of my faves this season which I think could be beautiful Mother’s Day gifts (I think I am having a thing for blue this season):

When I was researching Mother’s Day gift ideas, I came across Betsy Ames and thought WOW this would be an incredible gift!! The big question every year is where are you going for Mother’s Day brunch? Are you making brunch? Going out for brunch? Is your mom making brunch? Normally we go to the city and have a picnic in Central Park but with the sports schedule this year it is impossible to do so. We actually have to do Mother’s Day a week early to avoid all the soccer and lacrosse conflicts. Ever since we went to Russ & Daughters for my birthday brunch I have been dying to go back. I love Jew food; bagels, lox, cream cheese, the works! So for Mother’s Day this year we are doing Russ & Daughters .
