Chelsea who?
I know, I know, I owe you some blogs….working hard over here.
I did want to mention a few things
- Rago Brothers did an amazing job on my shoes! They look FAB!
BEFORE:
AFTER:
Highly recommend them!! It is a tiny drive but there is parking in the back and they are SUPER FAST! I dropped them off on Wednesday and I got a text two days later they were ready. Gotta love that. Thank you to everybody that recommended Rago. I already dropped a second pair off.
- I picked up the Chelsea Handler book, Uganda Be Kidding Me, and it is hysterical. I will review when I finish but I will say this…I just saw her perform and she was a HOT MESS. Like, “did she just walk on stage like that?” No joke, she walked on and I said to my friend, “that’s not Chelsea, right?” This is the Chelsea I am used to seeing:
BUT the Chelsea I saw was wearing a long sleeve see-through shirt with a black bra that my grandmother would wear. Her hair was a disaster. She looked like she rolled out of bed. Look we all have those days. Days we live in sweats all day, no makeup, hair on top of our head. We all do. BUT if I am getting on stage to perform in front of thousands of people you better believe I am getting a blowout, makeup, and putting on one hot outfit. Chelsea, on the other hand, train wreck. Full outfit and hair disaster. She started to tell this story about shitting herself on the beach and I was so put off by her, the story which probably should have been funny, was gross.
Needless to say, her new book is hilarious and I am still a fan. I do think she should think about a blowout and a normal bra the next time she steps foot on stage again or maybe hire a new stylist, Melissa??!
- I hope everyone signed up for their free class at Soul Cycle tomorrow for Farm & Fork! All orders for the CSA are about to close! DO NOT FORGET!! (see the link I highlighted if you have no idea what I am talking about).
- Lastly, I hope EVERYONE is coming out for beautiful Riley tomorrow night!!
Riley passed suddenly 8 weeks ago and did not leave without helping 2 other people. As many of you know 2 of Rileys organs were donated to people and helped save their life.
Ali Kogen set up a organization called Riley’s Dance, a first non for profit family fund of its kind to honor and remember the unique and special 5 year old who we lost way to soon.
With the collaboration of the Sharing Network of NJ, a federally designated organ procurement organization, their mission will seek to improve the quality of life for recipients in need of organ transplants.
This foundation will delegate funds to families in need of significant medical coverage and those pursuing financial aid.
We invite you to a night of shopping and raffles. A night to remember and honor Riley especially since we know how much she loved to shop
A portion of all sales for the evening will be donated to Riley’s Dance.
all raffles were generously donated and everyone who is involved was honored to do so
We will never forget that smile and that personality that could light up the room
xx
