Want to turn your husband into the best dressed guy ever?

This week is dedicated to Back to School. It will be short but it will be filled with lots of fun information. Instead of focusing on the kids today, I thought we could focus on the man in our life. It may not be back to school for him but it is back to work and the start of a bunch of new Saturday night plans.

My husband HATES to shop!!! HATES IT. He used to have these Puma sweatpants that he wore to death. They had so many holes in them I secretly had to throw them out when he went to work. Every Saturday night he is like “Which button down should I wear?” and I am like “well since you wear the same 4 maybe it is time to buy some new ones!” I shop for him but it’s hard because some things fit and some things don’t. Sometimes he wants to kill me because I paid $250 for a shirt and sometimes he loves what I bring home and wants me to go back and buy it in another color. It is a guessing game and personally, I just don’t have the time.

UNTIL LAST TUESDAY…

I was getting my hair blown out (go figure) and I heard this guy talking about “Trunk Club”. Trunk Club is the answer to your husbands’ and your prayers! It could go down as one of your husbands/boyfriends favorite things ever, that is if he is not already a user.

What is it and how does it work? (I love this part)

So you go to Trunk Club online.  You Sign up by completing a quick survey. You click on a few pictures of his personal style and then pick from a range of stores he normally shops at (Neimans, Saks, Gap, H&M, Nordstrom, JCrew, etc).

You enter all his stats (weight, shoe size, height, etc).

After that exercise, you will get a confirmation that looks like this:

trunk

So basically what happens next is a stylist will get in touch with you just to confirm a few bits of info. This will become “his”stylist. The stylist will create the first trunk:

items

His trunk will arrive in 3-4 days. He has 10 days to try on everything and decide what he is keeping if ANYTHING. He needs to go online, go through the items and offer feedback on each item. If he decides not to keep an item he needs to answer why 1) didn’t fit, 2) already have it, 3) don’t like it

This is EXTREMELY helpful to the stylist as they become his personal shopper so they get a feel as to what he does and doesn’t like.

Trunk Club offers FREE SHIPPING ON WHATEVER YOU RETURN. They even provide you with a FED EX Label. All you need to do is call Fed Ex to come pick it up and the rest is done! Simply amazing.

I am sure you are wondering what the brands consist of… There are boutique brands and more mainstream brands such as John Varvatos, Theory, Rag-Bone, and Vince.

After your first trunk, you can download the app or go online and fill out a trunk request if you are looking for shirts, pants, jeans, belts, etc. Otherwise they will send you another trunk of different items when you request it. So clever and such a time saver!

This is the perfect solution for the guy who  HATES to shop but likes to look nice or you want him to anyway 🙂

I ordered Greg’s today. Let’s see if he keeps ANYTHING!!

Let me know if you use it!! Great idea, right?
